My ute does the same most audible when reversing up hill. I haven't reversed my SV6 wagon into the shed to hear the fuel slosh sound yet.
Even if I reverse on a flat surface it still makes a sound

Fill the tank up, if the noise disappears, it’s the fuel tank sloshing.

Sound is the loudest on about 3/4 of a tank, below/above it’s fine. It’s a saddle tank so when the fuel is above the split for the Tailshaft, and fallen well below the top of the two sides, you won’t hear it

Theres very few negative things I have to say about the VF, but the lack of baffling in the tank is one of them!
Is there anything else it could b besides the fuel tank

You don't have a keg of beer in the back , or is that just me :)
That would be good hooked up to a windscreen washer pump through a chiller into my mouth ah!
Auto correct makes me type like I'm already drunk anyway..

Nope, as mentioned, it happens at around 3/4 of the tank because the fuel level is right at the point the tank splits over the driveshaft (as it’s a saddle tank) and this is where the noise is coming from

Forward/Reverse/uphill/downhill, it’s going to be sloshing around everywhere because there is no baffling in the tank. Once the fuel drops down below here, or you’ve filled it, it’s not as noisy
