That would depend on how low you want it to be I've just gone ask front and ssl rear on my vr and I'm happy with it

I have Pedder springs, SSL on 18s and the ride sucks.

But when I had it on King lows, it rode well.

So keep in mind the lower you go, the less comfortable it will be.

I have a rule with 2nd gen commodores..

If its live axle no more than SL

if its IRS then drop it as low as you want

If you drop a live axle car to far you will get exhaust rubbing, tailshaft rubbing etc etc and its just no end of grief.

I have SL's in my live axle VS and I had to do alot of work to get it all perfect and its still not quite there yet

Also if you go SSL's or lower kiss your ride comfort good bye

ride on the bump stops, it's the most comfortable option out of the lot, and it doesn't cost a cent
