my vn wont stay in 3rd so it has to be dyno'd in 2nd

yeah i asked the bloke that and he said that 4th gear was the most accurate... did a run in third and it made 133rwkw but i figured id take the conservative reading as the better one

4th should be 1:1 ratio, helps give a more accurate reading as far as i know.
However my auto gets run up in 3rd as when the power goes down, it wants to drop back.
A VY auto is 1:1 in 3rd, 4th is an overdrive of 0.70:1

I though all runs are done in 4th? mine was for my ve
We are not talking VE's, 4th gear is the closest to 1:1 in them (1.15:1)

yeh see manual will get a higher reading then an auto. also autos have trubble holding 3rd so 2nd gear is prob the best gear
