Not putting on the 2 piston callipers isn’t really a doing a full upgrade conversion to improve to better brakes over just the VR single piston callipers. The standard VS 1” m/c with VS booster was factory adequate for the single piston calliper if all the parts were ok and done and bled properly. It defeats the whole purpose of the upgrade. This upgrade is primarily about improving the master cylinder which exerts the force. VS booster is just a better booster than the prior models and bolts straight in.
The caliper upgrade is nice but not mandatory, this mod predominantly leaves you with more pedal force and better modulation on single pot pinchers.
That sucks about the master mate. In 6 upgrades I've never experienced that, I swear normally this upgrade is a piece of piss with many rewards. Is it possible that master was sitting around empty for a long period?
The whole point of using VT/VX m/c was its big bore bigger than 1" fast fill option for the larger pad/disk rotor area which gives much bigger better brakes, that is why it’s done in the first place over the less brakes of the VS booster with VX m/c and just single piston callipers.
Yes pressure will feel to be better with what you’re saying but brake capabilities still the same, it’s all about more bigger flow and bigger brakes/pad surface area. 4 piston callipers stop better than 2 piston anyday.
Its the same debate with high pressure oil pump over hi volume oil pumps or with fuel lines/pumps in size and pressure. Bigger volume/size is always better than pressure.
The OP issues are rising from old parts wrecker parts that are suspect over buying new and he is mixing matching things he doesn’t know about and getting the issues he has posted since 2016 for a long time. He seems to enjoy just playing around with a serious subject like brakes just to experiment and continuous posts.
