Hi

Can someone please tell me what that big ball/sphere is under the left hand side of my car is? It is connected to the vacuum hoses from the intake manifold.

Is it alright to get rid of it?

its a vacuum resiviour used by mainly your heater aiir con controls . Best to leave it or relocate it. you can removew it but you wont be able to switch between different modes without it

It is the vacuum tank. If you get rid of it you will have problems with the vent position selector for your heater/aircon.
Oops, too late again.
