SS auto getting stuck in first gear

After having the box serviced by a trans mechanic I'm still having the same problem, when driving normally it changes fine but anything over 50 percent throttle it stays in first until I back off. Can anyone suggest what I might be able to do besides replacing it?

Probably go back to the trans mechanic, as he is a mechanic of transmissions he might know your problem.
If not, find another trans mechanics.

Thanks guys I took it back but he said that its all driven electronically so he suggested to take it to an auto electrician

Well, he knows best, solenoids can and do fail

What is with PROFESSIONAL`s these days his bussiness is transmissions ffs, might as well shut the doors aye all the trans are electronic these days aye, man this **** is funny.
