Hi I have a 06 ve commodore just hit 300.000 and I’m having a issue where it appears to be stuck in first gear and it just revs out will not change gear what so ever just not sure how to go about it I’ve tried changing the filter and putting new fluid in it I had codes for misfires but cleaned the ignition coils and added new spark plugs since clearing the codes car has ran fine just stuck In first

And when was it last serviced PROPERLY and had some money spent on it?
They need a proper service at least every 100,000 kilometres if you are not aware.
What do your books tell you?

gossie if a bloke is worried about ticking off everything in the book hes not driving a car with 300k on it?
If a bloke was to keep everything in the book that up to date it would be cheaper to replace the car at 200k. Ill have guess and say the book is half full of lies like majority of the books I've ever read from cars with 250k+ k's on them what you think used car salesman do?
