as mentioned , I have the Mace CAI in my VZ SV6 and think it works a treat , I'd love to see a test between the Mace and SS CAI on two identical cars to see which works better .

1983 vh v8 sle 2000 vs v8 ute 2012 ve11 redline
A few years ago when I owned a ve ss ute I along with others put our cars on the dyno. The only modification to the vehicle was a growler
cold air intake and royal purple oil. My result was 207 rwkw. This was 2 rwkw more than someone else with no modification to his ve. His
vehicle had 6,000 kilometres on the clock, mine had 30,000. Both auto's Both mods were a complete waste of money. With a otrcai, extractors,
2 1/2 inch exhaust and tune it got to 257 rwkw. Not cheap but well worth the expense.

Will update when I fit it.

Been in for a about 10 days low pickup is good.

But I`m going to replace the stock intake from Growler to throttle body I really had to push the stock tube onto the growler like it should have been abit longer and also install the clean side separator.

I have an SS inductions growler too in my Alloytec 190 and have live engine data on the headunit.... It gained 2HP (sorry not KW) at wheels ... If anyone is interested... Also have one in VZ V8... gained nothing at all
But man does the 8 sound good now and the 6 also sounds much better..

Got a Mace pod on the VS.
So I knew I would get no more HP.
But the pickup is good the VE is tuned.

I have to put pics up yet.

But is it possible with the new inlet growler to throttle body (rubber ends on aluminium pipe) make the tappers sound louder.
It has changed the exhaust sound.

I also put this on a clean side separator but can`t see it is a problem. No oil light. I don`t think the engine would be very different to the US LFX. Was in touch with thread starter and does not know of any problems with them.
