VE SV6 Sportwagon
So I bought a pair of SS mufflers to slap on my SV6 sportwagon. The bloke selling the claimed that they came off a sedan. So I go to swap them over 20 minutes ago, and the twin pipes are about 100-150mm longer than the single pipe on the SV6 mufflers. So as you could imagine they were hanging out way too far!
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the sedan and wagon mufflers are the same, but the ute ones are longer correct??
If so I think old mate off eBay must have forgot that his 'sedan' was actually a ute...
Thanks for any help!

2011 SV6 Sportwagon series 2 and a VY exec 2
SV6 Sportwagon sits on the same chassis as the SV6 sedan????
Check out the length of the SV6 sportwagon on the specs, you will find it is shorter than an Omega wagon etc

Omega, berlina, calais, sv6, ss, clubsport, gts are short wheel base and use the same mufflers.

Caprice, statesman, utes, grange are all long wheel base.

Just FYI too. You can get afm ss mufflers and non afm mufflers.
Afm mufflers are a bit quieter than non afm.

Thanks mate, That's exactly the reply I was after! Are the AFM mufflers the ones that have the one pipe coming from the muffler and then junction into 2? Rather than the two single pipes coming from the muffler.

I can't be 100% sure, but yes I'm pretty sure the single into 2 is afm and 2 is non afm.
