Ss vy battery flat ,key won’t open door

Hi my VY SS battery went flat and I now cannot open my drivers door with key .Any suggestions on how to enter
via bonnet and try to open through gril ?
is there a release button any where how can I open the bonnet to change the battery

Try to get under the car to see if you can access the starter motor. If you can, place jumper cables on there and then try the key.

You can still use the key. Trick is to lift the handle while you turn. Might take some jiggling and it might feel like the key is going to snap, it won't

Had the same problem a few months ago. Deadlocked, could not turn the key.
Got the NRMA, he had to jack the Monaro up to get under it, put the jumper leads on the starter motor, the alarm went off, I hit the fob button to open the door, which it did, and put the key into the ignition and turned it to 'On' to cancel the alarm.

Try put the key right on the glass bottom centre of the windscreen. Then press the button. The receiver is that flat part between the demister panels at the base of the windscreen. Might pick up on a very weak signal then.
