I said if the tyres are directional they need to be removed from the rim

Good thread, I want to get the genuine VE GTS wheels on my SSV. Can anyone confirm for me if I will be sweet with the 20x9.5 inch GTS wheels on the rear with 275 tyres. Note: I have King Spring SSSL springs in the rears and my guards are rolled. I absolutely do not want any scrubbing at all even with 4 in the car and a full boot. Will I be sweet??? Thanks

Rubbing is more dependent on the offset of the wheel, rather than the width - ask your tyre fitter and they'll be able to steer you right.

So...got my new wheels tyres today, very very happy.
Just a thought crossed my mind though re: the spare.
What happens if I get a flat & I put a stock 16" Turanza, with three 20"ers?
Does the higher profile on the spare compensate for the lower profile on the tyes on the 20? ....or does it all get thrown outta whack? :hmmm:
Total diameter of all of em look equal to me

Heres the ol girl anyway with her new rims

If u have the correct sized tyres on the 20's then they should be the same outer diameter as the original wheels and spare.

Mate she will scrub, i have SSL all round, guards rolled and 9.5 on 275's, with four people in the car plus a 1400kg boat on the back, it sometimes scrubs when going round roundabouts and so on but very minor.

If you already have SSSL's you will need some decent offset to avoid scrubbing.
