There are plenty of bolt on only modded cars getting into the 700-800rwhp area and with a little nitrous getting over 1000rwhp. The fastest stock engine (bolt ons only with nitrous) I believe is running 9's at over 150mph.

surely they would have a market here?
fast, look the part. good technology etc.
Fair enough their economy is what, 15 times larger than ours, but still people would buy it that price bracket.

But, alas.
I guess my comments above contradict why Holden has scrapped a big v8 rear wheel driven car here in Aus.
However, better economies of scale over there I agree, but import this thing and they will still make money.

Yeah the ZL1 (GTS) iron pumpkin of a diff does have a specific procedure for example, but clearly not a concern!

Lets see both cars after 5 years of abuse. The Kia will be ready for the tip, as with all the cars they make. 7 year warranty, my arse. They try every trick under the sun, not to repair faults under warranty. Hyundai are just as bad.

If the Camaro; nah, that’s a cheaper car than the KIA!
Commodore, V8 one at least, I agree, ignoring rattles & squeaks. Problem is that in 5 years time, all Commodores will be 5+ years old ... in 10 years, they’ll all be 10+ years old.
