VT was in the shop for a couple of things and he's rung up today to tell us it's been knocked off from his yard. If anyone sees it any info would be appreciated.

Stolen from Waratah, NSW. VT SS 5 litre auto. Blue SS interior, but has red SS drivers seat. Rego: BN30XW

Bit rich he doesn't secure his customers cars up overnight under lock and key.

I hope you find it in one piece.

How trustworthy is your mechanic? Sounds pretty bullshit that the key would be gone aswell.

I rarely use a mechanic, usually do it myself, but I have used this bloke before with no dramas and was put onto him by a mate years ago to start with.

While I would like to say dodgy, I don't see a VT SS being the most expensive car the mechanic has stored at his yard. Surely he would have stolen something more valuable if he was going too.

Negligent on the other hand.....

Where was the key stored, and why wasn't it in a secured key safe?

Thanks mate.

Key was supposed to be in the office but there's been no mention of a break in, therefore to me that says it got left in the car.
