For those that are after more information on the stroker crank from COME:

"Same prices as our Ecotec deals shown on our website.

Ecotec 4.2 litre Stroker short motors in stock. Blower/Turbo version sold outright $6500.00 delivered.

Ecotec 4.2 litre Stroker short motors in stock. Normally aspirated 220kw sold outright $4500.00 delivered.

Ecotec S.T-3 ported cylinder heads...flow over 460 bhp complete fully assembled with COME conical springs and chrome moly retainers, bronze valve guides, 3 angle valve job...$1995.00 the pair outright. ideal for either our normally aspirated or blower/turbo short blocks.

Crank kits also same price as Ecotec. See enclosed sheet.

Our S.T-3 4.2 Stroker engine (180-210kw) your choice of power level is $8800.00 fully built and dyno run in from a complete stock 3.8 engine you supply for us to build. This is a normally aspirated engine.

Don't compare our crank to the Bradey toy. Our kits are properly engineered logical designs fully tested over the last 18 months in pretty extreme engine dyno flogging.

Our crank has strong heavy precisely positioned counterweights and we make our own forged 4340 steel con rods in custom length so you can use OEM pistons with our kit. Stock pin height pistons in other words are designed to be used with our kits. The Ecotec piston in the early engine is ridiculous.

You will never get enough air flow through the V6 heads and manifold to justify 7000 rpm with a stroker. However if you made a special intake and maxed out the head ports 6500 plus may be feasible. In this situation order our best kit with Wiseco forged pistons and "H" beam rods. These parts are good for 7000 at least and/or with N2O or boost applications.

Incidentally, all our kits are in stock."

hmm, wonder what the go with "The Ecotec piston in the early engine is ridiculo" means, as i was thinking of doing that, as eco rods and pistons are shorter than vn ones.

Thats what Bradey Cranks use with their stroker. I think it has something to do with the gudgeons? But im not sure.

ahh, ok. wonder what lenght their rods are to use stock pistons, coz ill be using a acl rebuild kit, so if i could get rods cheap, i could have a stroker for cheap, getting jsut the crank and doing the clearancing.

If I had the $8,800 for the 210kw Buick 4.2L package...I think I would just spend the $6500 on the 220kw Ecotec package for blower applications and spend the rest on having it converted to fit into a VN...

When you start thinking of other options there is no end lol, if i had 6500 id put it into a 2JZ conversion and be done with little power figures lol. That said id love a buick stroker, ecotec sounds like nothing compared to the buick grumble at idle lol.
