Struggles to start.

When I go to start my car it takes a while before it kicks over, once it does, it runs fine.. Plugs, leads, coil packs are all new..

Have you checked your fuel pressure? It might be low.

I have recently changed the pump and filter, is it an easy adjustment?

Fuel pressure regulator.. I had the same problem in my old VR it would wind over for ages before it started and then ran perfect when it did.. i went to wreckers and got a pressure regulator and it went away started the usual 2 or 3 winds then kicked… instead of 10 or so

hey mate i done my fuel pump and filter 2days and my car now starts fine. went to autolec and all. even holden culdnt tell me. changed it and now runs like a dream =)

Did you change the filter first to see if that was the problem before changing the pump?

yes i did and also the fuel pressure regulator. turns out it was the pump. my performance is back and reliablity is aswell
