Find out what you amp can handle or post up what model it is. If it cant handle 2ohm she will go into protection everytime.

What do you class as clipping? Clipping in just harsh sounding bass, rather than it sounding smooth. This is the amp distorting.

If it's clunking/popping repeatedly at high volume, that's usually bottoming out as the cone moves too far and hits the backplate inside the sub. This is the sub being run too hard for its mechanical limits.
