sub not working. but amp shows power.

An easy way test an amp is to get a multimeter and test for AC voltage on the speaker outputs. There is also a way to test for RCA voltage to see if the head unit is putting out too. To test subs a basic Resistance/Impedance test will do the trick which is in ohms. Then remove sub and inspect it (look for burnt coils, see if it's scraping when pushed in, check the tinsel leads etc.)

Just saying if anyone digs this up later for info.
