Not sure if this has been posted, had a look couldn't find anything solid.

Wanted to know what the best system was to put in my car. I want to leave the head unit stock (i.e Blaupunkt), but was thinking about stickin a Subbie into the back.
Just wanted to know the best brand, output, set-up, and a rough price, or if anyone has a good kit already, what they've got and what it costs.

And also, this may be a stupid question, but suppose I needed my bootspace for a road trip (I do a few a year which is why I havent got a subbie yet), is it possible to have it taken out and put back in easily?

Thanks guys

How long is a peice of string? You can spend anywhere from about $200 - 2nd mortgage.

Start with how much you want to spend and we can throw some ideas your way

Oh, and do you just want it to be loud or do you want it for the added sound quality they give.

And yes, they can be taken out easily enough for holidays and crap like that

A bit of A and a bit of B really.
I've noticed when you pump up the stock stereo, even with the Audio Distorter off, it kinda still is a bit distorted.
I'm not sure whether the RCA outputs would solve that problem.
And I guess, you can't have your music too loud, as long as you know where to have it loud and where not to.

Heres a good solution for you: Shopping Secure - Car Audio Specialists - VIBE CBR12 With Amplifier

Its relatively loud, and has some good sound quality to it. Its benifits include:

1. You can plug the ports to fine tune the sound you like.
2. The amplifier is built into the box
3. The box has handles
4. There are high level inputs on the amplifier for directly connecting to factory head unit
5. I can get some plugs for you that you can use to unplug the box like a power point for easy removal.

Your based in Sydney though. Do you ship to Melbourne?
Or if not, do you guys do installation if I meet you when I go up to Penrith?

Why are you coming up to Penrith?

Meet up with Phreddy to get some work done on my car from him. Been waiting 2 years, had to delay visits on so many occasions, hopefully mid-Feb I might be able to see him.

O just get him to do the install. He does great work. He will be able to do the line level conversion too so you can get the most potential out of it. He installed my CBR12 for me so hes going to know exactly what hes doing.
