I wonder why there arent more people showing up just to run big numbers(1000+) at horsepower heros

I remember we when 1800 was considered the ultimate figure to beat. Now it's half that.

Last summernats I went to was nats 12 and think it was the last to be held over news years too.. I wanna take the boys next year.. Might take the 66 mustang for the long haul..

Yeah I heard that too. I dont doubt it either shame it blew up. I think he knew it was going to go though.

Yeah his torry snapped the crank and a few rods and punched them out the bottom of the sump, it was messy.
Blocky with his green Val Regal took out the N/A side of the comp, on one of his qualifying runs he had a tyre blow out with a wheel speed of 240kmh, rubber everywhere, tore the tub out and it was loud as f&@k.
Another guy (can't remember his name) had his Chrysler Sigma in there going for the 4cyl forced induction trophy, he pulled 504hp on low boost on his first run of the final but it dropped the tailshaft, snapped the yoke off the uni and tore it in half
