An 8 always has more potential than a 6 because of the simple fact that the 8 has more capacity. More fuel/air = more power.

It just depends what sort of money you want to spend, and which way you want go. It just boils down to personal choice.

id love to put a 2jz in my VY, probably costs shitloads to get it rigged up properly? those things can handle so much abuse!

I doubt you'd be allowed to. What year was the latest 2J? Would have to comply with same emmisions regs as the VY
