Unfortunately its the motor you put in being the wrong code, engine code must match up. So if an LY7 was in an LY7 needs to go back same with LLT or LE0

This is true.

You don't need the donor computers etc. You have connected all your existing harness and sensors. For the most part the car doesn't care what the sensors are screwed into.

However, there are differences between LE0, LY7, LLT etc.
As long as that part of the engine code match up, it should all be tickety-boo.
Unless you damaged a sensor.

Great bit of work there, however, you are going to need to do it all again with a matching engine type if your photos are anything to go by.

Heart breaking stuff mate. You got the wrong motor.

Not that easy. I doubt all the pin outs match on the harnesses.
Stick with your existing harnesses or you open a world of hurt and rabbit holes.

Get the correct engine.

Yes. You had an LLT. Direct injection is the main difference.
You need to use another LLT motor.

From the photo, that is either an LE0 (2 cam sensors and 2 cam actuator solenoids) or an LY7 (4 cam sensors and 4 cam actuators + Airflow control via a motor on the back of the inlet manifold)

If you wanted to take a risk and convert the harnesses and computer, you will also need to VIN match the headunit, the cluster as well on VE
