And yeah harness was a little bit different, it had different plugs on sensors and a couple other little differences

That's off Google but that's the motor I took out, the same as that

OK just read back through everything.... So i think I took out a LLT

Look at the engine number on the left hand rear side of the block for the 1st 3 digits or the build plate on the lh strut tower to find the engine code

If that’s the intake manifold from it you painted, it’s an LY7.
It has different way of delivering fuel, has different heads, intake design too. Some might clarify if there are internals different or not, I’m not sure on that.

It’s a world of hurt to get the LY7 running in the car that had an LLT.

Drop an LLT in and it’s all plug and play, and you can rat your old engine for parts to have just in case.
