SV6 owners - want an alloy spare??

G'day guys-n-gals.

I'd really like an alloy spare for my SV6 - my VTII-S had one, and I'm sad! :cry:

I've spotted a full set of four on the Bay for $600 buy-it-now. If I can round up three other blokes in Sydney who feel the same as I do, that'd be an alloy spare - WITH a tyre (probably not much good though) for $150!

Would you be interested in doing the blue dash conversion on a VZ S Ute while you're down here? Also can you upgrade the single in dach stock stereo? I showed my mate with the ute the pics and told him about the stereo conversion and he's really keen!

phreedy do u have the original rim that came with the car, i mean the spare.

Wierd the SV6 doesn't have 5 alloy wheels with it. My VX spare is a matching one. I wonder why it doesn't. Is the normal spare lighter? With fuel the cost it is today and without going to a space saver wheel (they just look unsafe!) I would want my spare to be the lightest wheel I could find.

The spare was changed in the VY to the old steel wheel Holden have had on the Commodores for about 10years. Simple economics. It's cheaper. Unfortunately they have speed limited it to 80kph as the rolling diameter and width are different.
