Tech 2 Australian software cards available. (genuine GM - not chinese)

Hi Bret_JJJ, I brought one of the Chinese Tech2 units and all looks good but I can only connect to the Engine and Transmission modules on both my VY and VZ is this likley to be due to the "Australian Holden Card" they supply and if so are you still able to supply actual Australian software loaded cards?

Gday Tas, yeah Ive got no spares left mate sorry, but the USA is where I get mine from. .. The holden dealer tech1's used here in oz are mostly all old original tech1's, its best to try to get the newer tech1A's which had a few more features including a screen that can be read out in the sunlight, and the tech1A's were water resistant..so yeah mate, the USA is the go, but postage is the killer..
The original aussie holden cartridges are the hardest thing to track down.. Some EFI places I contacted about them wanted over $1000 for each cartridge as theyd have to "make" them as theyre no longer available new.. I ended up getting my hands on an original set of cartridges(which cost me a small fortune), and copied their bin files, which I then program to old USA cartridges, turning them into aussie ones. Even the holden dealers cant get these cartridges new any more.

Since the 7/8/2014 when I posted about the tech1. Iv STILL been looking! haha.
The Holden cartridge seems to be none existent in Australia anymore. Would love to get my hands on one to reverse engineer the bit of information they have for the older cars.

Its unfair on the old car owners that have to pay hundreds to get something like an airbag light cleared because they forgot to plug something in.
Simple mistake=costly experience.

I have a 1998 vs series 3 statesman can anyone help me with which version of GM tech 2 card I need to reset the airbag light as I pulled the dash out and tuned on the battery and now the airbag light is stuck on and I don't know if I fixed it so I want to see what may be causing the light to come on. I have a tech 2 scanner any recently purchased a card for Holden 1997 - 2012 any it can't read my cpu

What Tech 2 units are people buying? Are the Chinese ones ok? Do they come with Aussie software for VZ Commodores?

I just got a new GM Tech 2 unit, It came with the GM USA Software on the card and also an envelope with TIS software on a USB stick.
The original owner said the USB stick has the VE 6 litre software on it which he got from a Holden dealer. Unit and software has never been used.
How do I update the software on the card in the unit and do I upload the 6 litre software onto the Tech 2.

I can supply genuine Tech 2 software cards for aussie GM holden vehicles, does VT to VE commodore, and a heap of other australian holden cars. These cards are brand new "genuine" Tech 2 cards from the USA, not the cheap chinese "cloned" cards that are all over ebay. Just PM me for any more details. I can also supply Australian Tech 1 cartridges from VN to VS.
(These Tech 2 cards will only work in genuine Vetronix, Hewlett-Packard, OTC or Bosch Tech 2 units, will NOT run in the cloned chinese Tech 2 units that are all over ebay). These cloned Tech 2 units from china and the like, use a "cracked" version of the genuine GM software. Ive heard that the cloned Tech 2's have already caused damage to some vehicles over in the US.Apparently they can kill the ECU or BCM etc.
