hey Juztin, front bar cost $220, headlights were $280, paint was $120 which was enough to paint front, rear and sides and probably enough for the bonnet down the track.
With the paint, my uncle did it all for the cost of paint, in his holidays, but for someone he didnt know, he would probably charge for the time (labour) which in that case your just as better off getting it done at a car sprayer. only $250 - 300 depending on where you go.
cheers

Hmm so give or take under 900$, hmmmm lol that government fundage is coming up soon, lol

Cheers mate.

Fog lights in!!!

okay, so its been a while...
Firstly, let me say that this is probably the last thing ill do to the car, my girlfriend and i are saving for a house, so i dont want to put any more money into the car, plus im nearly 21 and my urge to make people look at me wherever i drive is quickly dissapearing. My heart just isnt in 'doing up' my car anymore, however im still 100% in love with it. Its kinda sad really, but life goes on.....

Anyway here are the pics of the fog lights installed. Still need wiring up though!!!!

Edit: Forgot to mention that these are genuine, i got some 70mm narva lights a month of so back but they didnt fit, got these today from FT Gully Holden for $235 the pair. Cheers,,,,

i've always wanted to put a cv8 front bar and nice kit on my vx.. but with the amount of money it costs, to have it painted i cant afford it. plus i need my bonnet done as well.

Thanks guys,

ShiZzl3, i got the bar second hand from a repairer, it actually has a small plastic weld about 4 inches long right at the bottom, but you can only see the line from the back, and my uncle painted it for me, along with the side skirts and the bottom of the rear bar, so i actually saved a bit of money. It was the headlights and fog lights that were the biggest cost.

Cruzn, yeah i like what ive done to it, its not 'hey, look at me...over here' kinda mods, but i think ive pulled it off nicely.

Also, wired up the lights today. They look so cool. I hooked them up to a switch on the dash, so they can be on, on there own, without parkers or headlights. But they run off accesories, so i cant leave them on accidentally.
