Whats vegemite got to do with the death of the Holden ute??:hmmm:
But, fresh bread and vegemite sandwich is tops IMHO:smoking:

I think it's identifying things synonymous with Australia. I still find it hilarious that Vegemite has been owned by an American company since not long after day 1. Holden has done for as long as they have been making cars (as opposed to the old coach building company they started out as). There is the "We Love Football, Meat Pies, Kangaroos and Holden Cars" add campaign of the 70's


but even that was a rip off from the american "baseball, Hot dogs, apple pies and Chevrolet" commercial a few years earlier :lmao:

It sucks that the UTE will die, but it certainly became obvious with previous Holden news. Good bye to another icon :(

Sorry to go off topic but the South African one of the 70's was very similar , " rugby , braais , and Chevrolet "
