Or instead of prepsol you could use eucalyptus oil...Natural substance and cheap...Grab a bottle from the warehouse:thumbsup:

I used a bread knife with some thin cloth wrapped around it, like a sheet to pry then used eucalyptus oil to remove the glue.

STAY AWAY from metal implements!!!!! or risk this-

Hair dryer, dental floss & prepsol/ ecalyptus/ bug off/ etc...

Warm the badge with the dryer & use the floss (less abrasive than fishin line) in a sawing action as mentioned.. Badge should seperate from body with ease (if not, bit more heat) Peel most of gum off (be gentle) then use your choice of fluid to remove the remainin gum.. (No need to rub hard, it WILL come off)

Used this method to do mine and not a mark left on the paintwork....

I just used a small flat head screwdriver with a few layers of rag around the end to pry it away and once I could get a grip with my fingers I slowly peeled them off. got most of the black stuff, and I used car polish to get the black stuff that was left behind :)

and "Saw" back and forth under the badge

dont 'saw' it. i did that on my old nissan. it will scratch the hell out of ur car.

just use lots of hot water(to melt the glue a bit) and slowly pull the fishin wire down. and yeah a bit of prepsol to get rid of the glue

I used fishing wire to 'saw' back and forth. Just pull towards you/badge and away from the paint. Can't really go wrong. I didn't need prepsol either.. picked most of it away without getting too tough with it, then scrubbed it off with hot soapy water. Polish on top, came up fine.

Why would you want to take badges off the car for??? I personaly think the lion badges dont look so bad but its own choices ofcourse!
