Got the plug out OK but couldn't get the drain nut off with my limited tools. Did find some sludge on the stick I dipped in to check the level though, so I think I'll chicken out and get my local mechanic to sort it. Might be good money after bad but might also preserve it for a bit longer. I have to decide in three years (another 80-120,000km estimate) whether it's worth getting the LPG taken out for the ten year assessment.
