Good work brother!!! Moving off that plateau!!!!

Since we're all talking personal bests at the moment, a few of mine over the last couple of weeks.

100kg x 8 reps Decline Bench

This may be just me, but do you lift more on decline bench?

Like I did the 80kg flat bench and struggled from about the 5th rep. Decline bench I can do it...a lot easier.

Apparently your lower chest is stronger and that's why power lifters curl up when they bench.

20% is standard.

hama do you incl the 20kg bar in those weights? or is that all just plates?

Glute's ok, still a little tight, it's the free range of motion that affects my deadlift ability, because of the way you have to stick your ass out at the very bottom.

Yeah decline is easier, I have neglected decline barbell bench recently so just getting back into it, smashed out 100kg.

I'm regularly doing 100-120kg on flat barbell these days, incline I do dumbbells which ranges between 35-42.5kg dumbbells.

Yeah include the bar in all those weights (20kg).

he says its only 80kg. i dunno everyone trains different.

Man that's weird...include the bar because it contributes to the weight your pushing.

Olympic weightlifters include the weight of the bar because it is 'actual' weight.

Bit weird saying oh I bench 2 plates either side (80kg), but in actual fact it's 100kg...

I count the bar, pretty much everyone I know in the bodybuilding/powerlifting industry count the weight of the bar.

I don't know how much the bar weighs so I don't include it.

I never say kg's either. More like 2 and half plates or 3 etc
