Good to see a quality shoei helmet. So this fekkin happened to me on Thursday. Too much front brake and the bars dropped from under me. Broke my thumb which I guess is lucky could have been a lot worse.
I used to have a Yammie YZ85 way back in the day. It used to be an ex competition bike so had a fair bit of power for an 85cc.Grew up on 2 stroke dirt bikes, jumping on a mates 250 road bike for the first time I thought there was a problem with it, no power and no power band to blow your hair back. Needed to get up into the 750 range for something as perky.

I tend to follow the Pilot mantra when it comes to riding a bike. Pilots say that "Any landing you walk away from is a good landing". You walked away so it was a good day. Look after the thumb and get back in the saddle. So this fekkin happened to me on Thursday. Too much front brake and the bars dropped from under me. Broke my thumb which I guess is lucky could have been a lot worse.
Yeah already at max left lean angle That sucks glad you weren't seriously hurt.
Curious as to too much front brake though? I drop down from 140kph-150kph and reef on the front brakes down to about 40, all in about 5-6 seconds so hard the back wheel can start to lift. Did the forks sack out, because that shouldn't happen I wouldn't have thought? Or was you already in a turn and too much brakes?
