Still sorting out the details but looks like we've bought a house. What spare time I have has been going to house stuff lately but once moved in the van is first cab on the rank for attention.

Stock original 2 door 'S' LJ Torana. 138, 3 on the tree, Balmoral green, I'm the 3rd owner, originally a Melbourne car, got original purchase receipt, movement record and service book with it.

Met oldmate in Sydney today, picked it up and drove it home. Drives excellent.

As for finding them, I found this one on Gumtree. It's probably the first one I've paid what it's worth and haven't gotten cheap lol.

There's cheap and there's worth buying, usually two different things lol.

I've been watching Toranas for sale for a year or so and couldn't pass this one up. Got myself a 2 door before the prices go completely out of reach.
