Here's my Tatt, no points given for guessing when I got it.

I got this one started today on the side of my left calf and it will be finished in a few weeks time. the oni mask will be coloured, with the asian style shaded background, with a little colour in the background too. I haven't decided on the colour of the mask itself yet tough. I'm stoked and it's coming along well and I can't wait to see the end product.

Thread resurrection......

Just had this done a month ago now. Pic was taken a week after I had it done once all the bruising had faded (the inside of my elbow was instant bruising just from the outline). I've always had a huge thing for all things Ancient Egyptian so this is the beginning of my sleeve. Taken me years to find a decent artist and this took him a little under 4 1/2hrs. Had another hour done last week touching up bits and pieces since my guy is a perfectionist lol. He still needs a skirt type thing on my wrist which I am not looking forward to.

that's awesome.

I've since had the piece I posted above finished, and now have another hanya mask on the same leg on the other side and a samurai fighting a serpent on the back of my leg, so it's now a sleeve (but on my leg) in the making. the first piece is finished completely but the linework for the rest is there. I'm a huge fan of the japanese style of tattooing and especially oni.
