I'd have to go searching in the VR forum but some bloke wasn't happy when I quizzed his need to rev his stock V6 out to 6k if that is even if it is possible apart from being in neutral???? Reckoned he doesn't drive like a madman, only on back streets?? But he said he was having issues and it not running right at 6k was when he just pulled out of his driveway.... Guess he must live in the back streets where there are no other houses but his????. Reckon the thread must have been deleted as I can not find it anymore..... Not shore if mods deleted or the OP did....????

Stock tune simply won't let it go there unless it's on a down shift over rev (been there ).

HI,I have a vs Ute v6 I have been having issues with it it’s 5speed and when I wake up of a morning an head out I can take off an it’ll rev right out to 6000rpm in first and second but once warmed up it seems to start dying around 4000rpm,it doesn’t splutter or go to die completely it just loses power and won’t push passed 4000rpm but it only does it in 1st,2nd gear,starting to annoy me abit as iv been told it’s heaps of different things would like to see what you guys say thanks

I ended up finding it as you probably worked out. I have tried to delete posts before when i misread a post and responded with what I thought someone was saying but then realised i misread and needed to edit rather than delete. I assume say rules apply with posts?
