gonnaeandoathat - is that for 2010 VE SS V? define brand new ? as in straight from the factory zilch 0 kms or demo model?

ohhh nice - the two cars we are eyeing up has leather :)

I am trying hard ball with two dealers - like their holden motto - may the best car win :)

UPDATE folks WOOT - what a day , managed to to steal a deal today :) Demo 2009 VE SSV Phantom ( black ) Wagon built date 10/2009 with 2,285 kms and leather seats

$40750 drive away with all three accessories thrown in 1600kg tow bar, SS mats ( front & rear ) moulded boot liner

I was offered $350 for full size spare wheel

Picking it up next week


was brand new,not demo as no manuals in demo or otherwise , manual SS saloon in black.

caboolture holden (beechams) have a black manual SSV for 47K... just too much !

its going to be a change of pace / life going from 2001 VX S manual sedan to 2009 VE SS V auto :)

yep.. will be a bit of a wake-up! Just a touch more torque than an old S pack. I swapped a VY S pack for this one ... and it certainly pulls a lot harder!!!

48 hours to go - the excitement is killing me - my wife has never seen me get excited over a car :)

Update - getting the full spare alloy thrown in at no cost :)

For those people who got their cars - what was the first thing you did as soon you drove off from the dealership / private seller

Update - the wagon is getting 3000km service thrown in before picking it up

This is getting sweeter by the day

Do you get a full tank of fuel before leaving the dealership?

I filled up with petrol... There was only a shot glass worth in the tank when I got it. Then I went back because the muppet with the buffer had knocked the stop light in the sailplane loose when he 'detailed' it.

First fun thing I did was a a good run up to the mountains.

well on my first drive i not only picked up the ute but also got my internet bride delivered, so to coin a phrase i had a root in my ute and the mattress been in there ever since..
