I haven't watched it since the boys left.

I absolutely hate Chris Harris with a passion so thats enough reason for me not to watch the newer series.

The Grand Tour I think absolutely nailed it (maybe less so post covid) but the earlier series was basically Top Gear but without BBC filtering/budgetary restrictions.

I'll follow Clarkson in any show he does, while lots think he's a wanker I have a very similar sense of humour etc (whatever that says about me lol). Without him, the shows kind of pointless.

I'll be honest, haven't really watched it since Clarkson and crew left the show. The reality is you simply can't create that that "X" factor the boys bring when they are together.

Quite enjoy Clarkson's Farm and the various other shows they all do now.

Old top gear had been on since the late 80's

Clarkson had been doing it since his youth.

It was just rebirthed in it's current format in 2001, Old top gear was purely a factual car review show and not an entertainment show. The BBC/producers needed to find a way to make it more family friendly rather than just something middle aged blokes watched on Sunday afternoons.

I've watched a few eps of it, it's.......not great. It's 30 minutes of clarkson just driving cars on public roads talking about them and the specs of the cars, and thats it.

Didn't mind Harris, Freddie Flintoff was OK, but Paddy tried to be Clarkson, but was just a feckwit wanker...
