412 Km/h... Seems excessive, is that meant to be what it would theoretically get if you had the longest straight stretch of road in the world and had time to wind 6th gear out to full revs?

412km/ph... Hot damn! Strap on some wings and suddenly, you're a plane! Amusing comparison -> the Eurostar HST in Europe recently set the land-speed record for a train in the UK; mustering a mere 300km/ph. Why spend half a billion dollars on a train, rail, etc. when you could buy a tricked clubby or SS for $80k and go almost as fast? Extending the autobahn would be cheaper - lol.

since i got my sv8 lowered rather than 240 kmh, ive managed to top the speedo at 250 :shutup: down adelaide avenue in canberra it actually surprised me though how the car seems to notacibly slow acceleration once 230 shows up but it manages to keep going, does anyone have any idea what this could be? coz its shot my mind... strut bracing makes a hell of a difference in stability at those speeds though, seems like everyone here should get it

i have got a top speed of 411kph out of my vy ss on the track(playstation 2 test track) thats where you guys are getting your speeds isnt it?:dance:
