The weight has been off for a number of years i just never talk about it.

What inspired you to start training?

You know when you get to a point in life when you just say #### it. I found that point.

What did you do to transform/change?

I filled bags with books esky and did split routines 5 days per week in my bedroom. Small cardio workouts as the weight had caused all sorts of issues with my legs, but i worked on that and started to run slowly until i ran the block.. Food was prepare meals as healthy as possible rule out all deep fried foods and keep calorie intake to 2000 calories per day. I also set my protein fat sugar etc limits. I slowed down on soft drink until i removed it completely from my diet.. Biggest change was breakfast daily and never skipping a single meal, or pre workout meal.

What are your future goals?

July last year i did my right shoulder and this has set me back. My goal is to build back to where i was pre injury as it's frustrating to be as much as 50kg down on some exercises.

Stats before and stats after your change?

Start 160kg Lowest 76kg Currently 82kg Height 178cm.

I hit my very first gym @ 81kg. 2 years later i was 93kg. 3 years later sitting happy @ 86kg. Got sick over Christmas with a digestive bug and have sat around 81.5 - 82.5kg since.

So far have been 2 weeks, 3 days without tobacco, booze and overeating. Weight is down from 89.8 to 88.0kg. Nutritionist would like to see me below 80kg, 18% of the way there! Running times are as follows:

1st week/2nd week/3rd week - 2.88km speed session (w/runners club) - 13:47/13:27/13:26 (all-time PB is 12:36)
14.11km City to Surf rehearsal - last week 74:15, this week 73:38 (5:13.1/km av.)
Long run - 21.1km/1:57:30 (5:37/km average), 21.1km CSU Half marathon 1:51:02 (dead flat course!), 26.3km/2:24:50 (5:31/km av.) and this morning 26.3km/2:24:10 (5:29/km av.)
Doing 10k fun run tomorrow. Town (Parkes) is a bit of a trip but it's being put on by a Rotary club I have had some association with.

Legend mate.

It feels awesome when you look back at pics. I myself last 45kg and have never been happier.

If I can dig up some pics I'll post up my own transformation. I laugh at myself in earlier pictures.

Swyped from my Note 2 phablet...

This is my progress. First pic was 3 weeks ago. Second week was yesterday after I got back from a rotation at Christmas Island. First pic was around 92kg's. Second I don't know because I haven't weighed myself yet. Still got a few more kg's to lose before I get back into the shape I was in.

Getting back into it after having a couple months off to hibernate for winter.

Weighted in at 113kg with 13% bf. Should be fun!
