Please stop posting pics, I'm getting jealous, I found a warm 308 for the new VH and all I was going to do is remove and refit. After this thread I think I might HAVE to do more. You defineately dont muck around, keep up the good work, cant wait for the finished product.

Well dad and I have been getting stuck into the vc over the last couple of days rain, hail or shine we worked through the lot back plated and welded 60 odd holes then filled them but we are getting there just a few more holes to bog up and then we gotta sand them down ready for primer and spot puttying some pics

Sweet work Trev its lookin great. i have just started pullin my new vb sle apart... Much to everyone elses disgust i am goin to use vh front though :rip: but i like them better. Keep us posted with ya progress man!

First time looking at this thread. Looks to be a good project in the making. Also nice to see your painting it in the original colour.

btw, are you sure it's a VC ? Judging by the 2 barrel Stromberg carb on the original engine & the cutouts in the firewall for the old Harrison style A/C, I'm thinking it's a VB.

VC were fitted with the Air International system same as the VH (air intake cutout for the A/C/'ventilation system was in the centre of the plenum)

Hi dude yea its a vc it also has the hole at the top in the centre of the plenum its a car full of bloody holes this one grrrrr
