Above 6 psi you would need to start making heaps less spark advance because the inlet charge will be so hot

Ruby should be turbo...Or supercharged!! She needs more power....

Foam, what do those compressor map thingys show? I can never read those sort of things...

Yeah VN2NV, you can gain heaps of power just from the cooler air, let alone being able to run full spark advance (but it costs more:) )

1vngal, compressor maps help you decide what turbo to use on your engine, it pretty complex stuff, toooooo complex for 4 am that's for sure

So, if you're to turbo a V6, you'd be much better off running an intercooler? Do you have to have one? I have no idea....

Better off yes, but you don't need one if you are running a small amount of boost, the extra pipes to hook one up can get a bit tricky

whats better to run external or internal wastegate. and how to u determan the amount of boost it will run or is that all in with the tune. as far as i have read an been told for a stock motor do long as its healthy it should be rite for up to the 8 9 psi?

im just haven a hard time tryn to pick either turbo or super lol i know with the super shes a bolt on job but turbo is too but doin it ebay so to speak way prob take longer.
