Well after abit of research i put it down to a faulty CAS. Swapped that and the new radiator over lastnight and re earthed one wire and got her running again. Only 3 of the 5 bolts for the thermo fan shroud matched up to the new radiator so i know need to do something about that. Didnt throw any codes but stalled after about 2 mins. Started it up again and it ran for a solid 10mins with no dramas then i ran out of time. Im abit nervous to drive her know because im worried it will break down again haha.


I hope everyone is enjoying there long weekend off while im working the entire thing...... owell gotta fund the ute somehow

Ute is running 100% again. Drove it to work this morning for the first time in 5 weeks. After work i took it to my mate who works at ian difffens for a wheel alignment. He has set up the front end very nicley with a touch of camber. I cant believe how much better it feels to drive. The steering it so responsive know and it just hugs the road. The original sway bar links are rubbing on the coilover and giving me abit of a knock here and there so new sway bars will have to be orded asap. Side skirts will be fitted next week hopefully as well as a buff and then hopefully get some nice photos.

Got a set of mace 1.98 high ratio roller rockers today nice and cheap. Only 1500ks old as the guy wrote his car off just after installing them.Hopefully get them in this weekend

Anyone used these before? Abit cheaper then a cam swap haha

I have them installed in mine. Great midrange to top end punch. Better exhaust note.

Make sure you install them correctly, lifter preload, rocker arm bolt tension. Even check camshaft lobe height, valve stem seal and spring condition if you're keen.

Also make sure to disconnect the battery and reset the ECU too.

EDIT

Submerge the pushrods and rocker arms in engine oil as well.
