just turned 18 yesterday and i've finally decided that the vz sv6 is the car for me.

willing to spend up to about 20k on it and have a bit left over for mods :D

in general, is their anything i should be careful of?
and also, i've seen heaps of conflicting 0 to 100 times of the Sv6 ranging from 6.5 to 8.7, so can someone clarify what the official 0 to 100 time is?

the car will most likely be silver, black or turismo blue (if i find one within 2 weeks) :)

they are a nice car to drive, get yourself a manual if you can.. as for mods, Suspension, and mags... dont bother with anything else.. Perhaps speak to Walkinshaw peformance about tuning, i have heard they have had some 'developments'

8.7 0-100 sounds more like it. No way they are 6.5 from stock.

Plus, your on your P's, so the 0-100 time is irrelevant. Learn to drive first.

0-100 for the VZ SV6 is actually 7.3 seconds for the auto and 7.1 for the manual i think. Very easy to get them under 7 secs with a few mods. 8.7 seconds in for the 175kw alloytec i would say.

just watched a few vids that show the car being roughly around mid 7's, so not to sure about it!

i'm not planning on speeding all the time, mainly when i'm the only one on a road, but me and mates like comparing 0 to 100 times lol

Very easy to make the same car un insured due to the driver not being licensed to drive a modified car on his P plates. It's amazing how many are willing to risk a huge financial setback at the start of their working lives to make their car slightly less slow.
