Ok.. so, involutarily, I am on a push bike for a little while, I've got a loan mountain bike. First time in 15+ years that I've needed to actually ride one.. The fitness level is LOW as hell. I am a smoker and whatnot, so all things running against me.
I have ridden all of maybe 2 km in 2 days (up to shops and back). The crotch region is very painful, so I'm probably going to get a different seat for it. Anyone know of anything to look out for in this case, I don't want to spend copious amounts of money and hopefully go to the likes of Kmart or something.
This is the 'beast' here.. I'll essentially be using it for mercy missions to the shops, and to the brigade if the pager goes off (active member of CFA).
I've fitted lights, have a ADR approved helmet, and I just greased the chain as I noticed it was quite dry. (hoping this helps too with ease of riding)
Ps.. I was sure there was a smiliar thread, if there is, please link it, and I will copy/paste this into that thread
