Yeah nothing wrong with the old rims, unless you are striving for an exact replica.

Old rims didn't work wrong offset for a VL. Too wide and rubbed just pushing it around the garage with the guard lips rolled flat. They were ok before the car was lowered. It had stretched tyres too. Illegal. I think they were designed more for a BMW.
