Hey guys,
I searched the forums and found a very similar thread, but I wanted to expand on it/ask a question. So some of you know that the VE Wagons had a bunch of boot switches that were somewhat faulty. Basically, when they get wet, the 'rubber' on the switch gets all soft and won't click. So after finding a guide to replace it, which is great, I thought to myself, I wonder if you could create a switch for the boot, which my particular model VE is missing. Could you somehow wire into the bootlid switch with a new switch in the dash/glovebox?
Fairly nooby at auto electronics, so I'd get someone else to do it, but is it do-able?
