Urgent! drivers door open but lock stuck shut

I recently changed all the insides of my door into another, however the central locking will not open the locking mechanism and i cannot close my drivers side door. I have tried using the key, handle and lifting the lock tab in the door but no luck. Is this an easy fix??? thinking I may have to change the central locking mechanism in the door?

Did it work for a while after you changed things over or did this start with the change?
Have you tried the key in the passenger side door?

Turns out the latch was faulty and stuck shut, have to change it for another one. $250 from holden lol!
