Are you kidding me? Over half or more of our interior is desert! Luckily, though over 85% of Aussies live within 50 klms of the coast. Where I live, there is basically zero dust compared to the look of your pictures there! No wonder you wanted a filter.

My comment was very much "tongue in cheek" and intended as a reflection upon a lack of awareness at Holden/GM. I've seen Alice Springs first hand!

you mentioned here that you were going to fit PAC adaptor for the steering wheel stereo controls.
What is that?
Is that something to control after factory stereo in VX commodore?
Have you installed?
Plz give me some more info

I did fit a PAC adaptor which converts the output from the standard stereo controls into an IR signal for the stereo. I never did get it working properly but that was because there was a fault with the actual steering wheel controls. I have recently sold the car and bought another Jeep - the Luminaro was rubbish off-road

I've bought another Lumina Coupe/Monaro so I'll have to do this mod on that one, too. It's a bit hot at the moment (tail end of an Arabian Gulf summer) and I have a broken aircon compressor on my Saab 9-3 that has a higher priority
