I recently bought a sports cluster (the one with the tachometer) to put in my VC commodore L. I have all the wires and every thing is working just not the tachometer is there a special plug that goes on the back? or am I missing wires that go on the back of the tachometer itself? Also the oil pressure gauge is not working either? Can anyone help me with this? The car originally had a cluster with the economy gauge in it.

from memory you need a wire to the coil ( i think it was brown , check a wiring diagram first ) in the engine harness, oil guage uses a different sender to the standard one, this is the one you need

Definately got to add wires from the dash to the negative of the coil and another to the oil pressure sender unit...The sender unit required is pictured above....You'll find the outlet for the wiring on the drivers side of the gauge cluster.
