Hi All
When you swap out a factory Trans, in the case I was, reading into a V6 6L50,(major torque converter issue ) some people say you need to have the new Trans "flashed over" at a Holden dealership
What is meant by this?

Look at the code on your transmission it will depend on the year like my 2010 says 0BRA
As long as the codes are the same then you don't need to do a thing.
If the codes don't match it's better to change the TCM module (it's inside the trans on 6L50's) over but honestly seen a few mismatches and doesn't seem to affect anything anyway.
Flashing them is a pain in the backside as well if you are running a E39 or E39A ECU as you need to unplug the BCM as it seems to come alive and kick the programming out when it's halfway through programming.

Thanks, where do I find the code of the Trans?

Under the car drivers side on the side of the transmission.
