Ve Berlina won't engage startermoter

Driving down the road the other day and my car just stalled pulled up and tried to restart and noticed I get the reds up on the dash but the startermoter won't engage put scan tool to ob2 plug and it came back with this fault
Lost communication with ECM /PCM A
Could anyone please tell me what's going on this isn't the first time the car has stalled from this fault
