VE Commodore or not?

Guess the S/C six wasn't enough for the daz! lol . Had mine since Feb this year, just over 8,000k's and not a problem so far, still hasn't run in yet lol *touch wood*

At heart even when buying the S/C V6 I wanted an 8, the chance came up this time round and I took it.

I was a bit hesitant at first as well. I have had a bloody reliable VQ Statesman V8 (now 350,000Km) for about 10 years and it was time for a change (son has it now). Read the reports on the forums for the VE and was not sure. Spoke to some reliable mechs and they advised it was early VEs.
Went ahead and got a 2008 VE Calais-V on lease 2 months ago, done 5,500Km in it and LOVE it!:dance: Will be the wife's in 4 years and she can't wait to get her hands on it after driving it. (She drives a '95 BMW 540i V8)
So I say "Go for it!"
